Starting business traveling the country doing trade shows, how to register business name?

Author: I just started a business and I travel around the country doing events and trade shows. I created a business name however I’m unsure of how I should register it. I live in pa so do I register just in pennsylvania or should I register it through the federal tradmark database?
Although you travel throughout the U.S., your business’s home base is in Pennsylvania, so that’s the state where you will register your business.
You will only register your business name as a trademark if you wish to protect the name against anyone else who may select the name for their business while operating in any state within the U.S.
