I’m just starting a new business, How do I get me name out there?

Author: I’m a new massage therapist and I was wondering how I can go about getting people to know that I’m there. I don’t have a ton of money (see just started business) so TV and other expensive ads are out of my reach. Plus I don’t have the credit needed to pull out a loan. HEEEEELLLLPPP!

May I suggest VistaPrint? They’ve got cheap advertising products, including a ton of free offers, one of which is $25 of free Google AdWords. I order my business cards from them and they’re great to me in terms of shipping and pricing.

If you have 299 dollars you could start your own website about massage therapy or health in general, or health tips for a certain target group (office workers, moms, etc.) and offer your visitors your own services or other companies products that are related to your theme.

One of the greatest forms for promotion just started in the last few years: Social Networks like facebook, myspace, linkedin. And they’re all free!
Create a facebook group, invite all of your friends and ask your friends to invite anyone that they think would be interested in getting a new massage therapist. Word of mouth is powerful in any business and facebook is a great way to go about this. You can send out promotions and deals to all members of your group.
