What are the benefits of new business in college communities?

Author: the question pretty much explains itself. We’re working on a business speech in my business class and we need to persuade others about why new businesses would be a good idea.
New business in a college community:
1. Provides jobs for students.
2. Provides taxes to support local infrastructure which benefits the college and those in the community.
3. Provides some kind of product that is useful to people in the community.
4. Provides a case study for business students to study.
