How would i financially set up a Sonic franchise? Would it be a good investment in Massachusetts ?
My friends and I want to start up a Sonic franchise in Massachusetts when we graduate college in
May. I know it costs about a million to start up and we need ways to to invest into this idea since we’re poor college students we just don’t know the best way to start up this franchise financially
Any suggestions????
The Small Business Administration issues loans for start-up companies. You’ll have to contact Sonic regarding their product. Massachusetts won’t care if you set up shop, as long as you do it legally. Contact the Massachusetts Secretary of State to incorporate.
And choose a good location where you’re most apt to sell this product, like close by a school campus.
First you take note that Massachusetts already has the Celtics, and leave the Sonics in Seattle. Then you start praying that Kevin Durant’s ankle is okay…

Unless you can write a business plan, it is not worth considering.
A franchise usually costs $50-200,000 to buy plus the cost of land and a building. Then you either buy from their distributor at a small premium or pay them a percentage of your income (or both).
Until you can actually create a viable business plan, no one will sell you a franchise.
All the franchise places have web links. Check them out and see or email them if you are serious about it and have some money. The franchise opportunities will not finance you.
