How to start a franchise such as mcdonalds in China?

Author: I’ve recently won a small settlement and I’d like to make the money work for me. I know its not enough to even pay the initial fees of opening a mcdonalds in the U.S., which require about 1 million including land/recurring franchise fees/staff wages/royalty fees. But It might be possible to open one in China where the economy seems to be booming. Any suggestions as to where to start?
forget about it , if you as a foreigner would like to open a company in china you will have to make a deposit of close to 1 million , just to open a company , the next step is to find a location and learn chinese , you need to be able to communicate with your workers . but you have to remember that a franchise of MCd also in china is very expencive
however there are other booming countries , that have less restrictions and where also the laguage would be less of a problem
