Where would I find a recruitment consultant who can get me a job in dubai?
My partner has been offered a job in Dubai and I am planning on going with him, however, I work in the social care system, and am aware that there is no such thing in Dubai. I have many transferable skills (I think!) and am having trouble identifying a recruitment consultant who would be able to help me find a job in dubai! Ideally I would like to be able to speak with this person.

First of all check that you will be allowed to work in Dubai. In the Middle East laws are very very strict and the concequences can be dire. Employment for women is particularly difficult.
That said and understood there are a considerable number of Westerners working in the Middle East, including Dubai. You could well find work amongst that community. Search for web sites that are set up for expats working in Dubai and start making contacts through their forums. Also out an ad on the site, if you can, offering your services. Also look at the local "harriers" site. This is a common expat club.
Housework, garden work is taken care of by the maid system so you will not get any work in that area.
As you have stated, social care is not something that is freely transferable as there is a totally different culture. So be a little imaginative with what you can offer. Is there an aspect of your abilities that you can offer or train in? Many expats live very comfortably, but they often miss "home" and aspects of that life.
What is also in great demand is English tutoring amongst the wealthy. Other subjects may also be requested.
Think a little out of the box, be prepared for a vastly different lifestyle, with much more comfort, but many more restrictions. It could be that you will not be able to work at all, in which case go determined to enjoy one of your hobbies, maybe join clubs etc. Being a partner can be boring if you don’t take up your new life.
Remember to look up the cultural changes. There is a great line of books called "Cultural Shock to xxx"
Lastly enjoy your good fortune in living in a different culture for a while. I am a very travelled consultant so I know that you are going to enjoy yourself.
