Can I start my home business from my apartment room?

What business licenses would I need for this DBA home retail business?
I’d like to setup a home business by myself selling candles from home. I’d be operating from home and would be retailing them directly to any consumer who’d want to buy, as I made them.
Any special licenses or permits I’d need?
that would depend on the town/county you reside in and will be doing business in. Most counties require you to fill out a short business application and pay a fee to have your business registered. Make sure to check your local municipality. good luck!
What is the best and easiest at home business to make a good supplemental income?
I am looking for a legit at home based business to make money as a supplemental income. I work and go to school already. I just need an extra couple hundred or $1000.00 a month. Nothing too major or outrageous. Only legit business that I can do from home on my computer.
Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Please always do your research before joining a business opp. There are legit ones out there, but you need to know what to look for before jumping in.
Real home based businesses take work and the money is not always easy up front unless you have a phenomenal product and there are very few of those out there that will sell instantly. It takes to develop a customer base and get people to join your team. It’s work and some sweat equity is involved where you are establishing your business, learning and not creating instant income.

Unfortunately many people don’t realize they are in a business that was designed to make the company money but not pay the distributors for their real efforts. It’s all in compensations plans and policies and procedures, plus, I believe having a very highly consumable product. My blog explains some about these items, what to look for what to avoid.
Learning skills is also very important to be a professional network marketer and something that can take you from part-time income to full time to retirement.

What a good home business I can start for someone who has a background in Computer?
I want to start my own home business, but I don’t know what I could do with a background in Computer. I know I don’t want to programming. I’m good at most everything else though. I was thinking about blogging, but I don’t know it you can make good money from blogging. Any ideas?

It’s of course important to count the cost first. Ask yourself if you are willing to spend at least 35 hours per week on your blogs to get them started. And after that, you are looking at at least 20 hours per week to maintain them and keep up with the competition.
