What in the blue hell happened to the franchise mode on Madden 08?
I buy the game today and go to see how EA has done the franchise mode this year, and I see there basically isn’t one. All you do is manage your roster and go through the season, there’s no upgrading the stadium, setting prices, or anything that remotely resembled the past addictive franchise modes. I also hate how they’ver revamped the list of players. It is so much more complicated to do anything on franchise in 08 than there ever was in 07. Your thoughts?
I have the game and swear you can do all of those things. At the beggining of the season, you can’t do any of that. After the season, go to the stadium page of the off-season menu. There is where you can do all of your upgrading, firing coaches, move cities etc. You can still do it, you just have to play a season first.
Steve Francis – Stevie Franchise
Steve D’Shawn Francis (born February 21, 1977, in Silver Spring, Maryland, U.S.) is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the NBA. Nicknamed “The Franchise” and self-described as “Steve-O”, with his on-court and off-court antics generated considerable controversy throughout his career. He was the 2nd overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies out of the University of Maryland. He famously cried after being chosen by Vancouver, swearing the Chicago Bulls would regret selecting Elton Brand first overall instead.
Francis averaged 21.3 PPG 7.0 APG 5.8 RPG in his first season with the Magic. The Magic started out the year fast in the 2004-05 season, with Francis providing great play, getting a couple of game-winning layups early in the year. They slumped late and missed the playoffs, but it seemed the Magic were heading in a positive direction.

How to start a franchise such as mcdonalds in China?
I’ve recently won a small settlement and I’d like to make the money work for me. I know its not enough to even pay the initial fees of opening a mcdonalds in the U.S., which require about 1 million including land/recurring franchise fees/staff wages/royalty fees. But It might be possible to open one in China where the economy seems to be booming. Any suggestions as to where to start?
forget about it , if you as a foreigner would like to open a company in china you will have to make a deposit of close to 1 million , just to open a company , the next step is to find a location and learn chinese , you need to be able to communicate with your workers . but you have to remember that a franchise of MCd also in china is very expencive
however there are other booming countries , that have less restrictions and where also the laguage would be less of a problem
How do you get involved in a franchise daycare business?
I live in Chicago and I would like to open up a daycare. I was thinking of a franchise or a state run program, perhaps for low income families to get involved with. I’m already in the education field, but know nothing about this process. Any ideas?

How long do you have to be trading before you franchise your business?
I have an idea for a business start-up, however it seems to me it would work most effectively as a franchise. It would require work being done in every part of the country which is more than I could handle myself.
Would I be able to franchise my business as a start-up, if I was providing a system to franchisees that they would most likely to be unable to replicate themselves?
It’s not time dependent, but rather when you can show a proper ROI. ~

Can franchise donut shop be reported for not using authentic licensed products?
A small Dunkin Donuts store (could be a sattelite store)
where we live sells coffee and donuts that are clearly NOT the authentic Dunkin Donuts brand. The taste is totally different in all of their products and also not fresh. The store itself has no bakery and we believe that they are buying leftover products from a non DD store. Is there some kind of "franchise police" that can check into the authenticity of the products that are being sold there?
If you contact Dunkin Donuts they would look into it and put a stop to this. This is prohibited by the terms of their franchise agreement. (All franchise agreements are the same on this issue.)
