My brother and I have a bet. He says that a player who has been designated the teams franchise player cannot be traded after they sign the tender. I think they can be traded as long as they agree, are healthy, and its before week 6 of the NFL season. Who is right? If you have a source please list it.

What are the total franchise costs involved in owning a franchise?

Varies greatly. You’ll have the initial franchise fee, equipment costs, ongoing royalties, and, of course, the total investment. All of these costs vary widely, depending on the franchise.

I’m considering opening up a franchise but would like to know how viable it will be. Does anyone know of a franchise owner and/or want kind of Profit margins they work to?

Profits are determined by your knowledge of operational expenses, but for those who think you make $$$$owning a franchise….think again…I did for 7 years, before I wised up and went on my own with a better concept…….I was paying the franchise $70,000 a year and each year I grew the business with hard work…they got more……making more than I was many years…..you still work for someone else so owning a franchise of any type…is not owning your own business….they fool so many people with this theme…..go see at least 20 people who own a franchise…ask them if they could do it over again…..if you are thinking about a subways…then ask 20 owners in different areas

QB Since 80, I would go with the 49ers. Young and Montana are HOFers, and Garcia was pretty good for them. All time I think the cowboys. Dandy Don, Roger the Dodger, Troy Aikman, and even Danny White was pretty good.

RB I think I have to go with the bears. They had Sayers and Payton, but they have also had a lot of decent backs through the years. The bills have had some good backs, with the double murderer, Thurman Thomas, and Willis Maghee and Travis Henry recently.

WR I think you have to say the steelers. Swann and Stalworth, Hines Ward, Randel El, Plaxico Burress, and I think Santonio Holmes is going to put up some numbers for them as he gets better.

I have a major franchise hotel in my town, it probably has around 35 rooms. Each time I call and ask for a room, they say they are full. But when I drive by, I see that they have plenty of rooms available.

Can the people who own this franchise lose it? Since, they are telling potential customers that they are full and have no rooms available?

Yes, I’m sure the major franchise chain has rules that the owner is suppose to follow.

It sounds like this is one of those hotels where the individual is living out of the office, raising a family, and not worried about running a professional business.

If they keep telling you that they have no rooms available, you might want to document each time and report them to the major franchise.
