Does anyone know a good sales software for small business?

Author: I have a small business and I need to organise my sales,leads and contacts better. Being totally new to sales I have a problem running the business and keeping track of information I have gathered on leads etc. I am hoping to buy software for sales.
I like Salesforce.com.
It’s a web-based system, but it works really well for the type of information you talk about. I also find it dead simple to use.
I use the "Group Edition" for the small business I’m currently running. It’s US$100/user/year and worth every penny. I had previously set it up for a prior employer who had some larger needs. We were running the "Enterprise Edition" at $1500/yr.
There’s a bunch of other web-based systems out there. Lifehacker did a bit on them earlier today.

How can I offer my business for sale?
It is a small millworking business in an exclusive area of northern california. We make windows and doors or most anything else of wood for homes near pebble beach.
Advertise in a magazine, paper or website of your specific trade. If there’s a chamber of your trade nearby, go and spread the news around. If you do not know any website/paper/magazine, google by typing the name of the trade.
how much do you think a ps3 going to be at circuit city out of business sale ?

I was thinking the same thing. Unfortuneately not all Circuit Citys are going to operate with the same prices. My friend currently employed at the store says the ps3 price will be at $350 in Richmond but will remain at 400 in the stores that are not in major cities.
It varies on location really. (fire sale starts tomorrow!)

The USD is being devalued by trade nations as predicted. you dont see this news on CNN. the relative strength of the dollar over the years has been linked to oil and the fact that you need USD if you want oil.
Well, this is not being tolerated any longer. Countries are using their own currencies to trade oil with now…. now leaving no reason to hold USD!

How does one go about advertising an online business for sale that is generating revenue?
Is there a specific listing service for online businesses? Business brokers?

craigslist.com
hire an agent or broker (commercial specialist) and have it listed on the MLS.
What type of business is it? Where is it? Post it here and maybe you’ll find a buyer.

What does the phrase "business for sale. business only" mean?
I saw a few businesses for sale but they all say business only. Does this mean that I don’t own the land?
Yes, you will not be buying the land. You will be taking over an existing lease on the building and land. Or the landlord will start you off with a new lease if the old one is nearing its end.
