It depends on what professional experiences you have and what your last salary was. I would say your salary should be based on both of the above with additional stock options. Good luck.

You say you have an offer – so what they offered would be the starting point. What you can get to will depend on your background and experience, and on the financing that the startup has, and on your negotiating skills.
With a startup, you can probably expect a pretty low salary, but can very likely negotiate bonuses if certain goals are met, and also stock options.
